On my 60th birthday last August 2010 I was given a precious gift from my sister - an "Aurora Borealis necklace" that she had found at a recent estate sale. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me. Amazingly, it perfectly matched a pair of earrings I purchased perhaps 15 years ago at an antique store.

As you look at the following video that was made over NORWAY ... I will share that my sister and I are both 1/4 Norwegian, our Mom is 1/2, and our late Granddaddy Johnson was full Norwegian. Lastly, I will never ever forget one night as I was working as a flight attendant and the Captain of our plane came on the speaker to tell everyone to shut down their overhead lights so that all could see the "Northern Lights" out the left side of the plane. It was STUNNING to say the least as I viewed the colorful lights across the entire sky! WOW!!

Videographer Terje Sorgjerd says he spent a week capturing "one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years."
Indeed his time-lapse video is absolutely beautiful, as it reveals dancing ribbons of lime-green wisps of light in the skies over Norway. Watching this footage reminds me of the beautiful colors described in Revelation 4, as John is "caught up" into the very throne-room of God.
Sorgjerd notes that the video was "shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degrees north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures around -25 Celsius. Good fun," he adds.
